Hello I am back like promised quite quickly after my last blog post with some more new pictures of jewellery but no more puppy pictures yet.

One more week to go before we can pick her up and bring Maisie home - we have everything ready lots of food/treats - toys - teething toys - blankets - bed - cage/pen - bowls etc we are really - really excited!!

Right then now onto my new pieces of jewellery - I am in love with working with gold at the moment and semi precious stones got loads more ideas/designs running around my head for the next stock purchase.

Gone in a flash February.......

It's been a while since my last blog post but boy has it gone by in a flash!

Does anyone else feel like this year has so far gone by very quickly or is it me am I getting old?

Well it's been busy for me and my family so that is why I haven't been able sit and write a post for a bit.

We have been looking and wanting a dog for the past couple of years but we have been very sensible and waited until our children were a little bit older and our finances were a little bit better.

We feel now is the perfect time to get a new addition to our family - a dog! Our boys are nearly 10 and 8 so we seem the perfect age to welcome a dog into our household - we (the adults) have been very sensible sorting our finances and lowering our bills and debts and even sacrificing everyday things to benefit us all.

So this year we decided that we were ready for a dog and we didn't want to buy one from a private breeder we wanted a rescue dog from a rescue home.

We have spent days and nights looking online and thinking we had found 'the one' but unfortunately the poor doggies were not suitable for homes with children as these poor dogs had had a traumatic upbringing.

Then a couple of weeks ago we went to the Dogs Trust in Loughborough UK and were told of a litter of puppies which had been brought in with their mum a stray Lurcher.

We asked to see them as we were interested and yes I believe in love at first sight - we were smitten and 100% taken so we said we were very interested and we would have to wait for a phone call to see if we were suitable.

We got that phone call and arranged to go visit the puppies again and to pick which one we would like.....

Here she is Maisie our new Lurcher cross puppy.

Maisie is still not old enough to come home yet she is nearly 7 weeks so we are hoping that on the 28th February we can pick her up and bring her home.

Right then that's one reason why I have been busy (and will be busy later) but here is the second reason - lots of new makes - so I shall just get cracking on and list them for you.

January 30th 2015 one more day left then we move onto February where has the month gone.....

I don't usually like January as it's a depressing month with the come down after Christmas - back to work - and a very long wait til pay day - but luckily this month seems to have gone by quite fast.

No work for me today as we have had a bit of snow and this results into school closures my boys school is closed however the school where I work is open but I am a terrible driver in the snow and openly admit to it I have a tiny car (Micra) which I don't trust in the snow despite it being quite minimal but I also don't trust myself so it's a stay at home day today for the three of us.

As it is the end of the month and most people get paid and with it being such a lengthy wait and let's face it we all deserve a treat for waiting so long and what with the gloomy weather and not forgetting Valentine's Day only weeks away I am offering FREE worldwide shipping in my Etsy shop.

Well we are nearly at the end of what I consider the most depressing month of the year......January!

Weather wise it's not been too bad and to be honest this month has gone by quite fast....February is a short month so that will soon pass into March and before we know it Spring will be here.

I have worked my socks off on new designs for my Etsy online shop and I think I have beat last years January sales targets which I am very pleased about as this let me purchase even more stock to keep adding to my store....

LOTS in my store now.....well 21 items but that's lots considering only weeks ago I had nothing!!

This year it's all about stripping back and less is more but with added bling courtesy of lovely sparkly Swarovski Crystallized Elements beads and pendants......I love a bit of bling.

So my new designs are quite suitable for Weddings, Proms, Glitzy nights out and Every Day Wear to take some sparkle with you wherever you go!!

New Year...New Me...New Jewelry Designs for 2015!

Well here it is 2015!!

It has been a while since my last blog post - going through difficult times and ready to give up on my jewelry designing and making.

Then things slowly started turning in the right direction and I thought NO why should I throw away my years of passion and creativity.

So I sold off my old pieces and did another de-stash sale so I could start up all over again.

So with very helpful Christmas pennies in my purse I managed to start up again - albeit slowly - but slowly and steady wins the race!!

Right then all *NEW* designs and styles from me - bye bye to the Boho and Hellooo to the Bling!!

My beady packages arrived the other day and so far I have managed to make x8 pairs of Earrings which are listed in my Etsy shop and I shall show you below and 2 Necklaces (not yet photographed/listed).

More to come getting my mojo back slowly - I must admit it's been hard - been doing a lot of research and designs and then when it comes down the the actual making it's like starting from the beginning again.
